What is Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
If you're in need of a more aggressive form of wound treatment, Western Drug Medical Supply's negative pressure therapy is an option to consider.
Negative pressure wound therapy involves the use of a pump and a specialized bandage to seal off the wound. This bandage is made of several layers of foam that are sealed. The pump then draws fluid and infection from the wound. Dressings need to be be changed 2-3 times per week for maximum effectiveness and it's critical for you to keep your wound dry so the seal on the specialized dressing isn't broken.
